Human life depends upon living standards and background where he or she is grown up. It makes a great impact in one’s life like if a person suffers in childhood for basic necessities, definitely he knows the worth of those things in more better way as compared to a person who enjoys all basic facilities during his grown up period.

Talking of rural life, a person have to compromise for a lot of things if he decided to live in a place outside towns and cities. This is because rural area lacks in basic facilities and modern one’s. You have to suffer along with your family if you are not earning enough to meet your expenses because you don’t have a lot of options out there for earning. People living in urban areas are comparatively earning more either by job or business because they are living in bigger market place and more opportunities.

Health:

Similarly, rural areas like villages lacks in health sector as nothing has been done so far for improvement of health sector facilities in rural areas. People of rural areas are deprived of basic Health Care facilities .Women and children have suffered the most from this neglect. They have to travel all the way to major cities like Karachi, Lahore ,Quetta and Peshawar for seeking medical attention. Lack of hospitals, staff, medicine are root causes of failure of health sector in rural areas. I am basically from rural side that’s why i can understand how serious these issues are and sadly, from past many years i am seeing same conditions out there as no one came up for some betterment of these remote areas.

Education:

Education is also major part in which remote areas are lacking in. Yet some improvement have been done in past few years in education sector but still a lot of work should be done in order to give quality education to our children. I have seen myself that how students in government institutes in villages are treated by teachers. Students in urban schools get many excess compared to students in rural schools. The excellent performance of urban students is because of their better quality in their education, availability of the information that they get from various sources like mass media and electronic media, their educated families and peers groups. Some of the factors that contributing to the poor performance are lack or resources and poor facilities in most schools especially in rural areas. Some of schools in rural areas are dilapidated compared to those in urban areas.

Poverty:

Poverty is also growing it’s roots day by day especially in remote areas. The country’s poverty crisis is largely concentrated in its more than 45,000 villages. People living in villages are unable to drink clean water due to unavailability of proper filtration units. Dirty water leads to diseases which are again not cured by hospitals in villages and people have to travel to cities to get treated.

Conclusion:

These are serious issues which need to be consider at government basis as well as individual level. Country’s economy is highly depended on rural development as whole agricultural sector is based upon rural areas so government should focus on development projects for rural areas in every sector. Proper health policies should be made and new hospitals with modern technology should be build in those areas where health sector is lagging.

Similarly, quality of education should be provided in villages and universities/colleges should be established in these areas. Development work will give job opportunities to people and also enhance their living standard.
